OpenIntents

OpenIntents is the main entry point for intents and actions, but also for settings.

OpenIntents supports the following functions:

  • Shows available "open intents" on the main tab.
  • As additional applications and samples are installed that use OpenIntents, these will also show up on the main tab.
  • Settings can be accessed through the settings tab.

Try it out

  • Touch an intent (click with mouse), or navigate there with the key pad and press the center button to launch it.
  • Touch the settings tab, or navigate with the key-pad to the right until you see the settings tab.
  • Press the menu button to see the About box.

The basic installation currently consists of List of locations, Magnolia tags, Media player, Shopping list, and Tag browser. As more OpenIntents compatible applications are installed, these are also displayed on the OpenIntents main screen.

Try it out

  • Before installing all samples and applications, open OpenIntents.
  • As other samples or applications are installed, these show up on the OpenIntents main screen (you may have to exit and start OpenIntents again to see the changes).
  • To remove applications, you have to use the following command: adb shell rm data/app/PresentPicker.apk (similar for other samples or applications).
