OI Update reports "No update information available"

I ran OI Update and for K-9 it says, "New version: 0.94" and there's a blue download icon next to it. Yet when I select it, it'll say "Checking for new version" and then eventually comes back with, "No update information available. Please check manually and ask the developer to support OI Update in the future." But how did OI Update know there was a new version available anyway?

K-9 mail update info

Looking at http://code.google.com/p/k9mail/ , it seems right now their latest version there is 0.93.
Maybe the K-9 team had posted that an update to 0.94 was available, but then changed that back to an internal release only?

The first time OI Update is run, it uses cached data, so they may be a few hours or even days old, depending on when you first received the notification. When you click on an entry, the link is checked again. So if the information changed in the meantime, it may result in the behavior you observed.

Do you see this regularly, or was it one time only?

Thanks for the info on how this works. I've only seen it happen this one time. I'm not experiencing the problem now so it must have just been a temporary situation.
