OpenIntents

Huge bump for a barcode scanner interface for OI Shopping List (on the wiki already). It would make it trivial to build your initial shopping list by scanning the items in your fridge, or to add "wanted" items while browsing in a store, or to scan your kid's basket and tick off those products from the list, or to track which packages have arrived from those you're expecting etc.

The applications are endless.
