Since the OI website ( http://www.openintents.org/en/ ) recently got
flooded with spam, we had to include measures to limit that.
All forms now require CAPTCHA validation, and a Bayesian filter
additionally checks all form inputs for potential spam.
Please let us know if you have any trouble accessing the page or
adding new content.
Drupal problem
The new spam module works well in preventing spam, but unfortunately, also some users were not able to post their comments. Due to a bug in the current version of the spam module, I can not post these comments through the system. (see here http://drupal.org/node/531214 ).
If you posted something during the last couple of days, please try to post again. I modified the spam filter settings to make it easier to get through.
Here are some post fragments I could still recover, but could not post them as originally posted. Also the author information got lost. If you are one of the authors, please copy & paste them under your name again in the forum.

Desktop Companion for syncing OI Notes
Hi,
Many people who used to store information in Notes in Outlook need an equivalent to be able to move to Android. With Palm there was software to sync these between the desktop and the mobile. OI Notes does most of it, needs to:
open/view notes
edit them
sync with device
Doing an export, then mount device, then edit, then unmount, then import is a bit tricky for the average user.
Cheers,
Julius.

I agree. I'm new to OI Shopping List, but I'm trying to set up lists outside of the app for import and I'd really like the tags to be part of the process since I intend to use them for sorting my lists.
Thanks.

OI Notepad - Option to save to SD card by default
I'm using OI Notepad for taking my notes, I think it's a great and simple app.
The OI Notepad says "Notes are stored in internal memory by default". I'd like to be able to store my notes on the SD card by default, because I'd like to be able to store all the notes on my phone in a single folder, and synchronise this on my computer with a piece of software such as Unison (open source). This way if I edit a note on my computer and synchronize it back, I'll have the changes directly on the android phone.
I can load a file from SD in the current version of OI Notepad, but when I open it again in the "last file menu", it will be the version in the internal memory.
