New logo

OpenIntents is in need for a new logo that can capture the spirit of our project. Here I follow up on Keffyoid's suggestions to add my own comments.

Keffyoid has already provided a couple of suggestions:

See discussion here.

So, here I add in some more suggestions about the general shape of a possible logo.

I think whereas in the v2 logo the crystal ball was too big, now it seems too small. So I attached a concept with proportions just inbetween.
The last concept is a possible usage of the logo in an application - when it wants to call for user attention ("new information available", or "new suggestion", ...)

So, a version with these proportions, but with blue crystal ball and green crystal rod could look cool :-)
I don't think Android phones will look like the emulator, so we should not restrict the logo to a specific shape of a phone that may change very soon or may actually never be seen outside of the development environment...

Feel free to add your comments and suggestions here as well!

Logo an abbreviation of

Logo an abbreviation of logotype, now applied broadly (if incorrectly) to all trademarks. It is a term used to refer to a graphic mark or sometimes confused with emblem commonly employed by commercial enterprises, organizations and even individuals to aid and promote instant public recognition. The blue octagon representing Chase Bank is an example of an abstract mark, while the "everyman" icon of PBS is an example for a trademark, this should not be confused with logo. Examples of well-known logotypes are the striped IBM design, Mobil written in blue with a red "o" and CocaCola written in flowing red script.
And I recently done my MBA and now a days I want to do some online Microsoft certifications and I Found cisco exams is a best helping source to get online notes which is more helpful for my preparation.

Oh, and I like the new comic

Oh, and I like the new comic style of "OpenIntents" in v3 that fits to the Android icons. It fits well to the v3 overall theme where the name is put on top. It probably would not fit so well if the letters were put right next to the crystal ball...

i like version 3 of the logo,

i like version 3 of the logo, but the comic font is the only thing i don't. not serious enough. just doesn't feel right.
i think the shape of the emulator is ok, a lot of smartphones look more or less this way
(and i have the vague idea that at least one android phone will look exactly like this - remember the old emualtor skin? there was a video with an prototype - from ARM, i think - that looked exactly like that)
